Join me in the cold, dark, life-sustaining NE Pacific Ocean to discover the great beauty, mystery and fragility hidden there.

Two Dive Day

August 7, 2011

It seemed appropriate that, to relay the remarkable diversity of the two dives, I should let images speak louder than words.

The most exceptional find was a baby grunt sculpin – no bigger than my finger tip.

Come underwater with me, just for 3 minutes to share in the awe.

Absolutely amazing Jackie. I love ‘diving’ with you without getting wet and cold. Although, the real thing must be even more breathtaking 🙂 Gorgeous pics yet again.

ahhh… almost like being there Jackie. Amazing find of the baby grunt! you must do a post on them alone soon! Great idea to point out species in each photo, most of don’t even see the tiny spiders etc. Thanks MD!
