Join me in the cold, dark, life-sustaining NE Pacific Ocean to discover the great beauty, mystery and fragility hidden there.

Red and White

Some red and white for you on Canada Day.

May we celebrate all that is wild, good and free.

May we truly know the privilege of it all.

May we be the neighbours and stewards who are as open-eyed and open-hearted as this land is large.

Beautiful photo and beautiful wishes, Jackie. Today in particular is a time for me to express my gratitude to Canada for taking me in and in particular to people like you who expand my knowledge and true care for the “wild”.
Thank you for all you do.

To know that privilege is true awareness, humility, and a blessing far beyond anything that can be bought. Life is precious. Seeing this Life intricate and delicate that has survived and prospered is much better than fireworks.
